We wish to intimate you that over the years Global Distribution fees for airlines have been escalating and non-productive segments in your GDS contribute majorly to this cost.
We seek your active contribution to reduce GDS costs by following below methods.
1. Delete all segments with status codes HX, UC, NO, UN or other rejected segment status on a daily basis.
2. Do not make duplicate bookings for same passenger.
3. Do not make reservations in classes other than those which govern fares that can be sold by your agency.
4. Do not make Test or speculative bookings using Emirates live inventory.
We shall continue to monitor your GDS wastage and non-adherence to above will result in ADMs being raised against your agency.
Please emphasize the importance of this notification to your concerned staff and assist us in bringing down this wastage in our mutual interest.
