CATHAY PACIFIC (CX) - U.S SECURE FLIGHT - INHIBIT TICKETING
We have been informed by Cathay Pacific (CX) to disseminate the attached
notification on US secure flight - Inhibit Ticketing to the travel
agents.
In compliance to Secure Flight Passenger Data that required by US
Department of Homeland Security, Cathay Pacific Airways will activate
'inhibit ticketing' effective 23Feb 2011 to facilitate the collection of
SFPD to bookings and to minimize the risk that passengers may experience
to be denied boarding.
Travel agents are required to provide passenger data of below for
booking on CX flight(s) that flying in/out or overflying United States :
1) full passenger name
2) Gender
3) Date of Birth
4) Redress number, if available,
Please send in above information by means of SSR DOCS (for passenger's
full name, gender and date of birth) and SSR DOCO (for passenger's
redress number, if available) in the booking record. Booking (including
Passive Segment) without such passenger data will be inhibited to
proceed ticket issuance.
